Support Small Businesses

Why is it important to support small businesses and what kind of difference does it make in your products?

When you think about a small business, you think of a person. A person that had an idea, developed a business plan, started from the ground up and sacrificed to create their dream. When you think of a big-name brand you think of a corporation. Maybe you think of a tall business tower with that name across the building. The company that owns the brand might even be different than the brand itself.

When you think of a small business you think of a person who takes the time to carefully create a product, personally prepares each package for shipment and takes pride in their work. At VIR we hand make our products in small batches. This allows us to tightly control the quality of our products. We use a Minnesota-based, family owned laboratory to manufacture our products. Big corporations manufacture their products in bulk, which typically requires using multiple labs and warehouses, making it harder to control quality.

Another great reason to support local, small businesses is to keep money in your community and help create local jobs. Everyone benefits from a thriving local economy!

In contrast to large corporations, small businesses can offer a superior level of service. Small business, such as VIR, care about personal touches including remembering each customer's favorite products and greeting customers by name!

What would a community be like without its personal flavor and flare?! That is another quality that small businesses bring to the table. Small businesses have one of a kind stores and products! They offer something special and distinctive!

Small business owners do a little dance when they sell a product! It warms our hearts knowing that somebody decided to buy our product out of all the product options available! As the founder and creator of VIR, I know all the hard work, sweat and risk it takes to start and grow a business. Small businesses appreciate all the support we can get!

Nobody cares as much about your business as you do. The owner of a company gives customers the best service possible. It is unlikely that a customer will ever be able to get the chance to work with the president of a large corporation. However, customers will be able to work directly with the owner of a local 'mom and pop' restaurant, a new local boutique down the road, or a small line of local products. If interested, customers will get the opportunity to learn about the small business, the product, and the owners life. The small business owner will help each customer learn details about which products are best for each, unique individual. Small businesses offer personalized service from people who genuinely care.

Small businesses are a conversation, a relationship, and a friend. I want you to think of VIR as a family. We want you to grow with us. As we work hard to launch our next products, we want you to test them out, give us feedback, and allow us to put a portion of our profits back into the community.

One of the driving forces behind VIR is our Groom & Give Program. Groom & Give means VIR donates a percentage of our profits to charity and gives products to those who are unable to afford them. Help us help others.

Thank You for supporting small businesses and Thank You for being a part of the VIR family.
